Helping good people & organizations tell their stories

I'm a Toronto-based writer and communications strategist.
I've worked as a reporter, an editor, and in senior public relations roles for major non-profits.

What I'm up to lately

I ghostwrite good things for good people and companies. You'll love what you read, but you'll never know I was there (my nickname is "Spooky" for a reason).

I've recently take on the role of Director of Marketing & Communications for a provincial advocacy organization in the life sciences space.

I write, edit, and consult on communications strategy for corporate clients through Toronto-based marketing firm Communicable Inc. Happy customers include Ryerson's DMZWealthsimple, Symbility Intersect, and City of Toronto's StartUpHERE hub.

I have a book, Dating Vandalized, coming out on May 25, 2017. I wrote it in first person for someone who isn't me. During the pre-order phase, the book went to #19 in the Kindle Store in the Women's Biography & Memoir category.

I write about love and relationships. You can read my work on my Medium page

THE BIGGEST LIMITATION OF BEING HUMAN IS THE INABILITY TO JUMP INSIDE ANOTHER PERSON'S CONSCIOUSNESS -- TO SEE THE WORLD AS THEY SEE IT, TO BE INSIDE THEIR STORY.

I believe in sharing what I think and feel deeply.

I believe in working with good people. I only help bring positive things into the world. There's enough of the other stuff.

I believe that companies need to hire creative people to produce creative work. I'm passionate about storytelling, and that's why I'm great at what I do.
